Dont be fooled by the words that i write i'm still, i'm still yawza from Accra, used to have a little now i still do, but for sure i know where i came from!!

Greetings and slutations from a sunny Johannesburg. Trust you all had a great weekend. me and my old self had a rather quiet weekend, except for saturday when we had a mates stag nite, Jake as Charlie said about 5 more days left of not having to ask for permission!!

Work, well its been a week and a half and thus far no regrets, well one, but i guess as the saying goes you make your bed now you must lie in it. But work is fantastic, got a great boss, very sharp, pretty chilled, basically given me free reign but still guides me alot. Went to some conference with him on thursday, got to hear about business in SA etc. so, so far still all excitement and all.

How often did u hear drink your milk its good for u..., well i just read that in New Zealand, research was conducted involving 20 countries. The results of the research showed a correlation between cows that produce A-1 milk and heart disease, they did however conclude that the findings were inconclusive...use it dont use it...

More useless, usefull informaiton.... it has been documented that HIV can be transmitted from woman to woman. How? well through sex toys, guess the time has come to put condoms on vibrators and fingers and all. Bloody hell when are they gonna find a vaccine for this damn virus, its wreaking havoc with a mans activities!!

Well today is the day that the UN inspectors in Iraq are are supposed to deliver their report. There will be no damning evidence against Iraq, but my guess is there will be a war waged against em. Good thing or a bad thing, well u decide.

President Mbeki, has sent a delagation to Baghdad, to try and deter a US led attack on Iraq, will they succeed, I THINK NOT!! More importantly y the fok go all the way to Iraq to go take on big guns, when u have a simmering pot right under your nose that goes by the name of mad man BOB. I mean really, deal with matters closer to our borders that have a very real effect on our economy than go take on the superpowers. Dont get me wrong, a war in Iraq will affect us, but i believe that will happen anyway, with or without SA's intervention, but Zimbabwe is a situation we can and must deal with.

Nothing more to write....

Hello guys,

Trust all is well, for those who were thinking Yaws got a new gig so no more monday mail, well what i say is sorry for u.....
I added a whole lot of names to to this list cos i couldnt remember who was on it previously cos me in my infinate wisdom didnt make a note of it. So what i am trying to say is if this is your first time receiving this, welcome! If on the other hand you would rather not receive this please do send me a mail and i will remove u from the list.

If I am not mistaken, today is Martin Luther King day in the states which gives me an excuse to harp on a topic that really tugs on a few emotional strings...and that is this whole feeling that because we look or believe in different things we should be apart. Now the reason i bring this up again is cos one of my youngest brothers had a mate staying over at the house. this young man is a stud. When he was still at school in umtata, he had no issues with having flings with women of any walk of life, but to his own admission those days are slowly fading. So we got into a conversation as to why. Yes it is true it is a mission trying to hold an inter-racial/inter-religion relationship. And please no one must tell me that is the way it was meant to be because you dont see dogs and cats shacking up, cos i will take u with a b**tch slap, dogs and cats are 2 different species for crying out loud, that argument makes my damn skin crawl!! anyway back to the matter at hand.

Those days of x being seen to be more superior than y are so far gone, look at our society now, well the talk that is being uttered now is equality for all, so now if we are all seen to be or trying to be seen to be equal, why should a small matter like how we worship our God (cos ultimately we all do believe in one God, the only difference is how we do his/her will) or another matter like how much pigmentation we have/not have matter to the price of eggs. He also raised another point like but when the 2 of u are alone everything is cool, but then when you go out, all the looks u get??!! But I say, yes its a mission, giving into those narrow minds makes them right.

The only point I want to highlight is what really matters is what and how you feel, forget how others will perceive it cos if they are really your friends they will accept and respect your choice and if they are not your friends, well then what do their oppinions matter in the greater scheme of things.

Just a few words use it... dont use it...

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

Quotes
Our loyalties must transcend our race, our tribe, our class, and our nation; and this means we must develop a world perspective.
Hatred paralyses life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.
We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away, and that in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty.
Free at last..free at last...thank God almighty we are free at last!! ....(are we???)

All these quotes are from Martin Luther King jnr.

op of the mornin ta ya lads and ladies,

New addition, always gettin bigger, i like it. JC, welcome to the world of rants and raves, and an occasional how u doin. If u at anytime wanna be removed from the list drop me a line. All commentary welcome with open arms, mail me or if its for public viewing go to http://mondaymail.blogspot.com.

Well this is definately the last mail you will get from me at this address, yes, the time has come, to say farewell to a decent enough chapter in my life. Been there done that now bring on a new challenge is what i say. From today try mailin me at yawza14@yahoo.com and from wednesday it should be peprahy@nefcorp.co.za.

Last week was pretty chilled no stress, no work really, just chillin and the best part of it is a brother is gonna be paid for it. Went house hunting yesterday, my oath what a mission, firstly to find what you want and secondly at a price that makes sense, i mean imagine people are askin like R600k for a damn townhouse, i mean what the ...., but sheesh that pad was superfly, i could definately dig it.

Guys i have a concern that i wish i had raised before it became news, but this America country, whats their angle. They send arms inspectors to Iraq, they find nothing and yet they are sending thousands of troops into the area to prepare for war, then there is North Korea, they have kicked out the inspectors, and have stated that they are gonna start/continue building weapons of mass destruction. America's stand, no lets engage in diplomatic talks.

Well here is my take on it. America knows it could seriously get a run for its money if it even remotely talks/thinks about engagin in combat with the North Koreans, but with Iraq on the other hand, their economy has been struggling for a while now, and they have a 'weaker' military presence. Basically in my mind America is nothing but a big bully. Another reason why they wanna do a Christina Aguilera (get dirty..hee hee) on Iraq is cos apparently allegedly most of their power is generated using oil, and not coal like us sophisticated people, and guess who produces a large chunk of the worlds oil?? yes u guessed!! so here's an idea, lets find any reason to go in and overthrow the government and get a US friendly government in place...c where i am comin from??

Plenty to do so i'll save u all but trust me from next week the long stuff starts, i know how much u all love those mails.

.....u thought i forgot...here is a quote for this week

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." --Will Rogers...quote sent to me by the biggest chop i have ever met called Mia. ;-)

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on and individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you. - Jim Morrison

And so it continues.....

Greetings all, trust u are all well, had a great holiday and hoping u are all well rested...unlike some of us, who chose this time to overindulge, and basically just have a great time, but i guess i have the first week of work to recouperate.

A new addition Smelly, its been a while girl, hope u enjoy these weekly emails(hopefully i can keep em goin) if by chance u wanna be removed from the list holla at me and it shall be done

I dunno about you guys, but last year thought me a great deal. a few of those lessons that i learnt i just thought i'd share with you...use it dont use it...

1) dont sweat the small stuff, hell this world is huge, cant please every one and not everyone will like u, if someone calls u a tosser, think about it, get reasons, if u dont agree, with a smile say WHATEVER!!

2) a positive attitude will get u far, in the words of aaliyah, if at first u dont succeed, pick yourself up and try again. not everything will go your way, so when shaite happens, with a smile say WHATEVER!!!

3) I cant think of a third, but i know there was.

Anyway guys and girls, have a fantastic year. Got a fantastic sms that i thought would be fitting to send....
'Accept the pain, cherish the joy, resolve the regrets that last year brought - for today is ours: we are dead to yesterday and not born to tomorrow - Carpe diem.
